Terms
- Monitoring (no custody): A stray animal record tracked via sightings/feeding/trapping before custody.
- In custody: The rescue currently has the animal (foster/boarding/temp holding).
- Sensitive: Staff-only by default; used for stray locations, trap plans, and safety-related notes.
- Sensitive case: A flag indicating stricter redaction rules (defaults true for monitoring strays).
- Location alias: A human-friendly label used for coordination when exact GPS is redacted.
- Event (timeline): A timestamped entry on an animal record (sighting, medical, placement change, decision).
- Task: An action item assigned to staff/volunteers (spay appointment, follow-up, transport, food drop).
